Kate is a writer, branding & communications professional, and creative powerhouse.

Since she was first able to write, Kate has been told that she “has a way with words.” This grew into an affinity for elaborate science fair booths, history presentations in full costume, and any opportunity to create, persuade and captivate.

When a fifth grade assignment required her to invent a product and draw an ad, Kate chose to develop an integrated campaign including a tag line, print ads, a radio jingle, and product samples. Miracle Whip is currently using the tag line.

Today, Kate is still happiest when she is creating messages that influence people.

A graduate of the University of British Columbia, she learned the basics at one of the top PR firms in Western Canada. Kate then moved on to work with a variety of niche companies and startups.

Her background includes marketing planning and strategy, comminications, and creative work including copywriting, web, editorial and blog content, name creation, positioning statements and brand language.
